Parent’s Club -Free Class

Hello San Carlos/Belmont Parent’s Club Families – We have coordinated a free outing for your group! You are all welcome to come tryout our class for free on the date/time listed on the form below.

CLASS OPTIONS FOR 9/3/24

2 to 4-year-old, Dance & Performance Class – 4:30pm-5:15pm

What do we teach in class?
Small Fry Dance Club offers Dance & Performance classes that survey various dance styles rather than focusing on just one, like ballet. Our program emphasizes motor skill development, social growth, and introduces basic concepts in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and musical theatre. Each month, we rotate our motor skill focus—from balance to hopping, skipping, jumping, and crossing the midline—all essential milestones for toddlers and preschoolers.

The main difference between the age groups is the 2 to 4-year-old class is parent optional. Meaning you may enter the class with your dancer if you so choose. You can sit off to the side or participate with them. The 3 to 5-year-old class is dancer only. Parents must sit outside and watch the class from the lobby area. We have large viewing windows for this purpose.

If you feel your dancer does better on their own, or you think they are ready to break away you should choose the 3 to 5-year-old class. If you think your dancer is a little more timid or this is their first group class experience, you may want to try the 2 to 4-year-old class.

We are currently on our Jazz rotation. We will be focusing on Jazz from now through December, which culminates with our winter performance. That’s your dancer’s chance to get on stage!

What happens next?
After you submit the form below, please give us 1-2 business days to reply with a confirmation email. We have limited the number of available in each class. It is possible that the class fills before we have a chance to remove this form. If that is the case, we will add you to a waitlist and let you know as well. We process your submissions on a first-come, first-serve basis.

I (or my dancer) have been cleared to participate in dance or any other related physical activity by a licensed physician. I agree I will be responsible for any damages sustained to the facility that are caused by me. I understand that any photos or videos taken during classes, workshops, camps, performances, master classes, or any other events held in the facility may be used anonymously for marketing purposes.
