Dance Birthday Parties



Small Fry Dance Club offers private birthday parties for preschool age children. Although we have a general birthday party dance class plan, we pride ourselves on being able to create an event that is unique and special! Music choices, party themes, class exercises, meals, treats, and even the dance teacher can be selected by your Small Fry! Below you will find an outline of dance party basics.

Birthday party basics

The bundled cost is $250 A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking. Cost includes up to 14 children and their families.

Additional children are $10/each up to 20 children max.

Recommended ages are for kids turning 6 or under. 

We plan and lead a private class for your birthday boy or girl and guests. The theme can be defined by you and your Small Fry. Some ideas could include: A Cowgirl/Cowboy theme, Princess Theme, Ballerina theme, Dance Party theme.

Parties are 2 hours long with 30 minutes at the top and bottom of the event for set up and break down. (3 hrs total)

The balance is due 1 week before your event. 

Final Guest list is due 1 week prior to event. We will bill according to the list. No refunds for dancers that do not show up the day of the party, as we will be staffing based on your original list.

Party times could be on a Saturday or Sunday:
2:30pm – 4:30pm
3:00pm – 5:00pm
3:30pm – 5:30pm
4:00pm – 6:00pm

Each family will need to sign a release of liability waiver before their child participates in the group dance class.


Provided by Small Fry Dance Club on the day of your event.

Small Fry provides: 2-3 6ft folding tables,  1 4 ft. card table for presents or food,  4 children’s picnic benches (seat 4 each), 3 dance studios (age/size of group may determine studio we use) 1 or 2 teachers to lead a private 45 minute dance class (Dance and Performance curriculum with consideration of party themes and personal requests in prop and music choices) And one staff member to assist with setup and clean up. You dancer will also get a surprise gift from SFDC!

A Typical Party?

We can try to customize it to fit your needs (including having no dance class if you have other activities in mind). however most parties have gone as follows:

  • 30min prior to party for setup
  • 15min to let guests arrive
  • 45min dance class
  • 30min to eat
  • Remaining 30 min can be up to you. Some families have booked face painters, balloon artists, played games, or hired a character. A somewhat structured activity is recommended but the kids can also just go back and dance in on of the studios. 
  • 30min post party to pack up and clean

Birthday Party Request Form

  • Birthday Parties are only available on Saturday or Sunday afternoons.
  • Parties are 2 hours in length, and have an additional 30min of setup time and 30min of clean up at the end. (total 3hrs)
  • Optional: We have a photo backdrop that we can setup in our space that comes with a red carpet. It can be a fun addition to the party, and something you and your guests will enjoy.
  • Princess, Cowboy, Frozen, Cars, etc... Get creative! We can work to tailor the dance class around your theme.
  • What colors do you want to use in your decor?
  • We will use it in class.
  • If you have taken classes here or elsewhere, do you have any favorite props you want us to use?
  • If you have taken classes here or elsewhere, do you have any favorite activities from class?
  • Just a brief description of your plan? Pizza? Pasta? Cake? Etc.
  • Any allergies we should be aware of?
  • One guest per line. Add name, sex, age, and any medical of special needs. Party fee includes up to 14 dancers. May go up to 20 dancers (additional fees apply). No need to list adults. Don't have your full list? Give us what you have for now. We won't need a final list until 2 weeks prior to the party.
  • This is required so we can manage our staffing levels for your party. We do not reimburse you if less dancers than predicted show up to the party.
